At Alton Presbyterian Church, we offer a variety of ministries designed to deepen your faith, foster meaningful connections, and serve both our church and community. From Women’s Fellowship and mission support to hands-on service opportunities, there are many ways to grow spiritually and make a difference. We believe that each member of our congregation has been uniquely called and gifted to serve the Lord, and we invite you to explore our ministries to find a place where your talents and passions can be used for His glory.

United Christians International
United Christians International began in February 2005 with JeanJean and Kristie Mompremier's God-given desire to share JeanJean’s seminary training with the lay pastors of the area near Caiman (JeanJean’s hometown). From these small beginnings, the Gospel turned a small village that predominantly practiced vodou into a community that works together. Evangelism, discipleship, and training remain the focus of all UCI’s ministries. By God’s grace, the people of UCI have been instrumental in providing hope and livelihood to those in this region who are lost in vodou and suffering from poverty.
Womens
Ministry
Our Women's Fellowship offers a wonderful opportunity to connect more deeply over coffee, lunch, and small outings, all while exploring the talent and beauty of Northwest Iowa. Together, we share stories, scripture, and meaningful adventures, strengthening our faith and friendships. As we gather, we also seek out ways to serve our community through prayer, meals, and donations. Our support has extended to organizations such as Alton Fire & Ambulance, Kaden's Kloset, and Friends of Rock Valley, reflecting our commitment to making a difference through faith in action.
Quilt Ministry
Our quilting group lovingly crafts beautiful quilts for our church family and various organizations, stitching together warmth, comfort, and care. As we weave each piece of fabric, we also weave bonds of fellowship, sharing laughter, stories, and faith in every stitch. Do you have a talent for the needle and thread? Consider joining us as we create not just quilts but a legacy of love and service.
Volunteering
Our church is deeply committed to generosity, supporting missions and projects that make a meaningful impact both locally and globally. Guided by our faith, we strive to support initiatives that reflect Christ’s love and compassion.
In addition to our ongoing partnership with UCI, we respond swiftly to urgent needs, such as providing flood relief for those affected in our region in 2024. We also extend our support to local food pantries, the American Legion, and Samaritan’s Purse.

Our Women's Fellowship Ministry brings the community together each year through our beloved Soup & Pie event, a cherished tradition that offers warmth, hospitality, and fellowship to all who attend.
